2. DO WE NEED INSURANCE?

Yes, each participant of the hockey camp must have an insurance policy valid in the EU (or only in the Czech Republic), as well as additional insurance for athletes.

3. HOW DOES THE FIRST DAY OF HOCKEY CAMP GO?

Registration to the camp takes place from 12:30, after registration there will be a opening ceremony on the ice. Check-in at the hotel is made after 14.00. The training program for this day begins after lunch.

4. HOW DOES THE LAST DAY

Usually the camp ends around 14:00, but the exact end time depends on the training time of a certain group. On the last day of the camp, there will be a graduation ceremony for participants, as well as a grill party for parents.

Yes, parents can watch training sessions, but we strongly ask that you do not interfere with the training session and do not enter the locker rooms before and after classes.

6. DO YOU PROVIDE HOCKEY EQUIPMENT?

Unfortunately, we do not provide this service. Each camp participant must have a full set of hockey equipment.

7. IS THERE A BICYCLE RENTAL SERVICE IN BENESOVE?

Yes, there is a bicycle rental service on the territory of the sports area, the price is 5 euros / day.

8. CAN WE LEAVE OUR SON AND GO AWAY FOR TIME OF HOCKEY CAMP?

Yes, each group has 2 supervisors who take care of the players 24 hours a day during the entire training camp. They wake the children up and make sure they are on time for meal and training, as well as organize an entertainment and training program. They also look after the children during the freetime, as well as help with putting on equipment and tying skates in younger groups.

9. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE LEVEL OF THE GROUP IS LOWER/HIGHER THAN THE LEVEL OF MY CHILD?

On the first day will be held test, after which participants will be assigned to the appropriate group. Also, during the camp, the coaches monitor each player, and if the group does not match their level, the coach can transfer them to higher or lower group .

The leaders of each group always check in the evening that all children are in bed at 21:30. Individual rooms are monitored periodically throughout the night.

11. DO YOU HAVE ANY TIP FOR FREE TIME FOR PARENTS?

For parents, there is an opportunity to visit Prague (train from Benesov goes every hour. The ticket price is about 4 euros one way), Ceske Budejovice, Cesky Krumlov, Konopiste castle, as well as other attractions in the Czech Republic. You can also walk around the picturesque surroundings (castles, caves, parks, etc.), and you can also book excursions. Learn more about the sightseeing here.

12. WILL THERE NOT BE ENOUGH TRAINING SESSIONS LISTED IN THE PROGRAM?

The training process is very intense. There are four daily training sessions: two on-ice and two off-ice, as well as theoretical classes. This puts a heavy physical and emotional burden on the hockey player. In practice, we found that with more training hours per day, the child stops learning that material and becomes inattentive.

13. WILL THE CHILD BE ABLE TO TRAIN IN THE CAMP, EVEN IF THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH IS LOW?

Of course, although English is the official language of our camp, even players with basic knowledge or without knowledge of English can easily cope, since it is not the language that connects us in the camp, but the hockey itself. In addition, our coaches will always carefully show each exercise so that all players know what is required of them.

14. CAN GIRLS TAKE PART IN A HOCKEY CAMP?

Yes, girls can take part in the camp. For convenience, the girls will be provided with a separate room and a locker room.
