Training program

International ice hockey camp in the Czech Republic 2020

The training program of the summer hockey camp in the Czech Republic is aimed at correcting, developing and improving the technical skills of athletes both on and off the ice.

The advantage of our hockey school is a constant training process that does not repeat elements from previous training sessions. Players are constantly waiting for new challenges and exercises that allow them to progress from day to day.

It should also be clarified that for forwards, defenders and goalkeepers, we have provided training sessions that meet the game specifics of each position.

During all days of the summer hockey camp, players will be busy from morning to evening. Young hockey players will always be under the supervision of the coaching staff and our supervisors.

On-ice training

During the summer hockey camp in the Czech Republic, hockey players always expect 2 phases on-ice training. The main focus will be on the skating skills and speed. We focus on developing skills such as power skating, balance, correct push technique, agility and maneuverability and abrupt changes in driving directions.

Also, we will not forget about exercises for starting and explosive speed, skating face forward and backward, teach the correct hockey step, etc.

In addition, a great emphasis is also placed on training to develop technical skills of puck and stickhandling. Keeping the puck, scoring, protecting the puck from the opponent, shots, passes, control of the puck, etc.

Off-ice trainings

The training program also consists of 2 off-ice training sessions. Classes are aimed at developing strength, speed, agility, attention, coordination, balancing, and technical skills. Off-ice training also includes shoting exercises and stickhandling skills at the hockey ground.

Recovery program

After a hard day of training we make sure that all of our players get the relaxation they need. Player’s body has many different needs! Not only do we make sure that all of our players get four meals a day and that there is a constant supply of isotonic and non-isotonic drinks, but we also administer mandatory rest periods for all age groups in order to make sure that everybody is well and rested.

As well as relaxation through such activities as sauna, massages, games, etc. Everything is administered with the assistance and guidance of our professional trainers and instructors at one of the best training centers available to the Czech athletes.

Theoretical lesson

Tactical understanding of the hockey game, video review, thematic lectures, analysis of game moments are also an integral part of the preparation in our summer hockey camp. From the point of view of erudition and comprehension of actions on the ice, this is the best way to develop skills of understanding the game, the opportunity to look at yourself from the outside.

Sport meal

We have not forgotten about sports nutrition.  The food contains a sufficient amount of fruits and vegetables, as well as other important items to replenish energy after trainings. In addition, we teach young hockey players to eat properly and follow a drinking regime in order to train effectively. Thus, participants of the hockey camp will be provided with 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner).

Entertainment program

Of course, when organizing a summer hockey camp, which takes place in the Czech Republic, you can not pay due attention to the cultural program and leisure of young hockey players. In the evenings and in the breaks between training sessions, children will enjoy entertainment and game programs. In addition, on one of the days of the hockey school, camp participants will visit the world-famous Franz Ferdinand Konopiste castle and its garden.

We came to this camp for training for the second time. Everything is just great: interesting and productive training sessions, excellent coaches(high-level professionals), a variety of animation outside the training process. I really liked everything! The main thing for our child is that there were coaches who knew Russian and easily explained to children what to do;)! Special thanks to the caregivers who took care of our Scupina 3 ! We really want to come to you next year to improve your skills and get new emotions!

Well-organized camp. Training on the ice and on the ground is a real pleasure. It is great that children from different countries gather and live together for a week. And how many new acquaintances? We will be happy to participate next year!
